This is a blended Scotch whisky from King Davis, aged 3 years, from the 1980s and in a 1 litre bottle.
The nose is rich and complex, with dried fruits, honey and a touch of oak, along with some vanilla and caramel. The palate is smooth and well balanced, with malt, toffee and a hint of spice over a creamy, gently sweet texture. The finish runs medium to long, with lingering sweetness, a touch of oak and, for some, a slight smokiness.
