291 All Rye 100% Rye Malt Colorado Whiskey Batch #1 (75cl, 66.3%)

This is a Colorado single malt whiskey made entirely from rye malt, bottled as Batch #1 of a limited edition. The malt comes from Root Shoot Malting in Loveland, Colorado, and the whiskey is finished with toasted aspen wood staves. It follows 291 E Batch 3, one of the distillery's early single malt experiments, which the team liked enough to make again with Colorado malt. The strength is 66.3% in a 75cl bottle. The notes read as cinnamon raisin French toast, Irish breakfast tea, sawdust, plum pudding, black pepper and salted caramel.
