291 HR is a high rye Colorado bourbon, released annually at barrel proof. This bottling is 66.1% ABV (132.2 proof) and comes in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is corn, malted rye and malted barley.
It began as a mistake, when a double dose of rye was added to the distillery's bourbon recipe by accident.
Tasting notes list gingerbread, Pueblo chile, lemon meringue, plum, pine sap, port wine and cinnamon bark.
