291 M Colorado Whiskey is a barrel proof rye bottled at 61.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It begins as 291 Colorado Barrel Proof Rye, aged in new American white oak barrels and finished with Aspen staves.
The whiskey is then moved into 291 barrels that previously held Wisconsin maple syrup from Lincoln County Reserve Maple Syrup. It is rich, spicy and viscous.
The tasting notes run to toasted oak, toffee, maple syrup, figs and cinnamon.
