An artisanal mezcal produced in Oaxaca, Mexico, combining Espadín agave, prized for balanced sweetness, with Cuishe, a wild variety known for earthy, savoury and herbal complexity. The agave hearts are roasted in underground pits, fermented with natural yeasts and distilled, often twice, in copper or clay stills. It is unaged and bottled at 40% ABV.
The mezcal shows floral and herbal aromas with hints of firewood and ash, plus subtle botanical sweetness. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with cooked agave sweetness, floral, earthy and herbal tones, and a gentle trace of smoke and mineral nuance.
