A.D. Laws – Four Grain Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

This is a cask strength straight bourbon from A.D. Laws of Colorado, made from a mash bill of 60% corn, 20% heirloom wheat, 10% heirloom rye and 10% heirloom malted barley. A number of Four Grain Bourbon barrels are selected and married, then bottled at cask strength to show the concentrated flavour that comes forward at high proof. The whiskey was aged for at least three years in new 53-gallon oak barrels. The nose offers baking spice, black tea and honeysuckle. The palate is bold, with orange, clove and dried fruit.
