This is an eight-year-old Aberfeldy from the Highlands, bottled by Claxton's at a cask strength of 55.1%.
Before bottling, the whisky was finished in a refill Oloroso sherry octave of about 50 litres. The finish gave it a dark colour and a sherry sweetness. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured, so it is bottled as it came from the cask.
