This is a 10 year old Aberlour single malt from Speyside, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in two types of cask, traditional oak and seasoned sherry butts.
The nose combines bright citrus zest, ripe red berries and dried apricot with hints of cinnamon, clove and toasted oak. The palate brings honeyed vanilla, baked apple, dark chocolate and a little ginger spice, with a creamy texture. The finish is medium to long and silky, with spiced honey and a delicate touch of oak.
