A twelve-year-old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
It is double cask matured, with part of the whisky ageing in traditional oak and part in sherry butts before the two are married for bottling. The distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, where the Lour burn meets the River Spey.
The brand's tasting notes describe golden honey, fruity pears and vanilla toffee on the nose. The palate brings tangy orange, red apple, liquorice and almond, and the finish is smooth and sweet with a hint of spice.
