This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered, so more of its flavour is kept.
The whisky matured in both bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is fruity, with vanilla, caramel, cocoa and strawberry jam. The palate opens softly with raisins, plums, chocolate, cinnamon, ginger and tobacco. The finish is of medium length, sweet and fruity with some spice.
