This is Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask, a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. The distillery stands at the foot of Ben Rinnes. A distillery called Aberlour was already in existence in 1826, though the bottles give 1879 as the year of founding. Pernod Ricard has owned it since 1974, and it is run by the group's Scottish subsidiary, Chivas Brothers. A fourth still was added in 1973, bringing the total to four.
