Aberlour 18 Year Old is a single malt matured for 18 years in sherry casks, selected as the best the distillery had for this expression.
The sherry casks give it character and a balance between different styles.
The nose opens creamy, recalling vanilla ice cream, followed by honeyed and fruity notes. On the palate it starts fresh, with apples and oranges, before sherry, raisins and vanilla arrive.
