Ableforth's Bathtub Gin Navy-Strength (70cl, 57%)

Ableforth's Bathtub Gin Navy-Strength is an English compound gin in a 70cl bottle at 57%, the traditional Navy proof. It starts from the original Bathtub Gin, in which six botanicals are cold-compounded into the spirit. Here it is bottled at a higher strength. Juniper leads the nose, with orange zest, cardamom and a touch of clove. On the palate the juniper, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom and orange peel arrive in layers, with warmth, spice and citrus, and a rich, oily texture. The finish is long and warm, with citrus oil, vanilla and gentle spice.
