Adelphi Breath of Highlands 12 Year Old 2009/2022 (55.2%)

Breath of Highlands is a 12 year old Highland single malt from an undisclosed distillery, selected and bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi. It was distilled in 2009, matured in first-fill sherry casks and bottled in 2022 at a cask strength of 55.2%. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The release is limited to 2,293 bottles. The nose is sticky fruitcake, cocoa nibs and warm oak. On the palate come panforte, candied citrus peel, summer berries and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with baking spices and dried fruit.
