This is a 13 year old single malt from Jura, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022 by Adelphi at a cask strength of 55.1%. It comes from a single sherry cask, number 700072, and yielded 293 bottles. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Adelphi is the independent bottler behind the release. The nose is rich with sherry, dried fruit, dark chocolate and spice, with caramel, nuts and a touch of smoke. The palate is full, with dark fruit, espresso and spiced oak, and the finish is long and warming, with spice, dried fruit and a hint of light smoke.
