A slender, vertical red made from Nerello Mascalese. Ripe red fruit, light floral notes and delicate spice lead, followed by a smooth palate with freshness and marked savouriness. Fine tannins stay unobtrusive and the finish is discreet but coherent. Serve slightly cool with white meats, pasta with savoury sauce, medium-aged cheeses or mushroom dishes.
