Akashi Blended Whisky is a Japanese blend of malt and grain whiskies from the White Oak Distillery, bottled at 40% in a 50cl bottle. It is matured in American oak casks, some of them sherry casks, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings vanilla, honey and ripe fruit with light spice and a little oak. The palate is soft and round, with caramel, citrus, malt and vanilla. The finish is medium in length and warm, with vanilla, fruit and light oak.
