Akashi Blended is a Japanese whisky from the Akashi White Oak Distillery in the city of Akashi. It is a blend of malt and grain whisky, in a 50cl bottle that comes in a box.
The whiskies in the blend were matured in different types of cask, including American oak and sherry casks.
On the nose it is delicate, with sweet fruit, vanilla and a light touch of spice. The palate brings honey, caramel and a faint trace of smoky wood, with a velvety texture.
