A Japanese single malt from the Akashi White Oak Distillery, in a 50cl bottle that comes in a box. The whisky was aged for between four and seven years in white oak casks. The nose combines vanilla and honey with dried fruit and a light touch of spice. The palate opens sweet, moving through toasted flavours and fresh fruit towards a gentle, spicy liveliness. The finish is long and lingering.
