Akashi Meisei (50cl, 40%)

Akashi Meisei is a Japanese blend of malt and grain whiskies from White Oak Distillery, bottled at 40% in a 50cl bottle. After its first maturation it is finished in sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose offers dried fruit, raisins and vanilla, with gentle spice and a touch of oak. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with sherried fruit, caramel, nuts and sweet spice. The finish is medium to long, with dried fruit, oak and light spice.
