Akashi Sherry Cask Finish is a Japanese blended whisky from White Oak Distillery, made from malt and grain whiskies that are finished in sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 50cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The distillery is described as one of the oldest whisky producers in Japan.
The nose has dried fruit, raisins and vanilla, with fine spice and a little oak. The palate is soft, with sherry fruit, caramel, nuts and sweet spice. The finish is medium to long, with dried fruit, oak and gentle spice.
