Akashi – White Oak Toji Malt & Grain Japanese Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Akashi White Oak Toji Malt & Grain is a Japanese whisky from Akashi, made under the direction of a Toji, a grand master of sake brewing. The approach brings sake-making methods into whisky production. The pot still is smaller than those used in Scottish and other Japanese distilleries, which lowers the level of fusel alcohol. As a result, the whisky does not need as long an ageing period. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
