Alberta Premium Canadian Rye Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Alberta Premium is a Canadian rye whisky in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is distilled from 100% unmalted Canadian prairie rye at Alberta Distillers in Calgary, which was founded in 1946. The brand states a minimum of five years in new charred oak, ex-bourbon and once-used bourbon barrels. Continuous and pot still distillates are blended to make the final whisky. The brand describes a rich gold colour, with banana, toffee and light spice on the nose. The flavour is mellow and smoky, and the finish is vanilla and spice.
