Alberta Premium Golden Rye 9 Year Old is a Canadian whisky from Alberta, distilled by Alberta Distillers in Calgary. It is made from 100 per cent Canadian rye grain and aged for nine years.
Maturation uses three styles of barrel: new white oak, ex-bourbon and ex-Canadian whisky casks. The colour is golden amber.
The nose offers caramel, leather and coconut. On the palate there is raisin and molasses, and the finish is sweet, with the rye spice running through it.
