Alness is a 12 year old blended malt Scotch whisky from Thompson Bros. The blend brings together two malts: a heavily peated Dalmore malt, described as having industrial muscle, and Teaninich, which adds a vibrant, grassy elegance. The two malts were married and matured together in first-fill barrels, then bottled without any chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
