This is a 2017 Amrut single malt from Bangalore, India, in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 60% ABV. Amrut was founded in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna. Its whisky is made from Indian barley grown in fields at the foot of the Himalayas, with water drawn from the same region. The spirit is matured in oak casks at an altitude of 900 metres in Bangalore, which is known as the garden city of India.
