Amrut Peated Cask Strength is a peated single malt from the Amrut distillery in Bangalore, India. It is bottled at 62.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle and matured in oak casks.
The distillery was founded in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna. It makes its whisky from Indian barley grown at the foot of the Himalayas, using water from the same region. The casks rest at 900 metres above sea level in Bangalore, the garden city of India.
