Amrut Peated Indian is a single malt from India, distilled by Amrut Distilleries and made from selected peated barley. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings peat, smoke, leather, wood, rubber and sea air, with some fruit alongside. The palate has a lively mouthfeel and plenty of peat, followed by cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper and eastern spices, with hints of orange and caramel. The finish is long and warm.
