This is a 17 year old single cask Islay single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2026 by Duncan Taylor from oak cask no. 11898. It comes from 333 bottles at a cask strength of 54.6% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose shows malty sweetness, toffee and caramel with dark dried fruit, a fine citrus note and a hint of maritime smoke. On the palate it is full and powerful, with bitter dark chocolate, concentrated dried fruit, oak spice and deep maltiness. The finish combines sweet caramel and dark chocolate, with a little aniseed appearing late.
