Angel's Envy – Bottled-in-Bond Cask Strength Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Angel's Envy Bottled-in-Bond Cask Strength is a limited-release Kentucky straight bourbon, aged for nearly six years and bottled at 100 proof in a 75cl bottle. It meets the traditional Bottled-in-Bond standard. It is bottled at cask strength without the secondary barrel finishing usually associated with Angel's Envy, so the character of the bourbon itself comes through. The nose offers caramelised sugar, vanilla wafers and ripe banana. The palate brings honey, creamy coffee, light fruit syrup, toasted oak and gentle baking spice, followed by a smooth, rounded, lingering finish with soft oak and subtle sweetness.
