This is Volume 5 of the Angel's Envy Cellar Collection, a straight rye whiskey released in 2025. It is distilled and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky, and comes in a box with gold and teal detailing.
A high-rye mashbill is finished in ice cider casks from Vermont, which add apple character to the rye.
The nose offers orchard fruit, honeyed apple, ripe pear, vanilla bean and spiced oak. On the palate are baking spice, caramel apple, maple, white pepper and gentle toasted oak. The finish is long, with sweet cider, rye spice and a touch of dried fruit.
