This is a Kentucky-style bourbon from Angel's Envy, finished in port wine barrels. It is sold in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is sweet and earthy, with cherry cough syrup, cinnamon French toast and spearmint gum, plus boiled peanuts, dried flowers, hay and a touch of sandalwood. The palate is creamy with a hint of bitterness, showing dried cherries, strawberries, cinnamon sugar and chocolate. Water brings out tart cherry cobbler. The finish is of good length, with woody notes, vanilla cream and lingering spice.
