The whisky is described as a blend of well-matured character and wilder, younger notes, both coming from that one cask.
The nose is sweet apple, light wildflower honey, nuts and vanilla. On the palate there are vanilla, nuts and barley with a light peat, and the finish returns to those flavours in balance.
