Ardbeg 10 Years Old is an Islay single malt, bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill-filtered. It is the distillery's entry to the range and is widely regarded as one of the peatiest and smokiest single malts.
The peat is not pushed to the front. It gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt, which leaves a whisky of good balance. It was named World Whisky of the Year in 2008.
