Ardbeg 10 Years Old is a ten-year-old single malt from the Ardbeg distillery on Islay, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
Peat smoke runs through it, with citrus and other fruit, chocolate, vanilla and light spice, plus a faint salty note. On the palate an early sweetness gives way to deep peat, with espresso, smoky tabasco and salty liquorice.
The finish is long, dry and powerful, with lingering peat smoke, espresso, spice and a salty touch.
