Ardbeg – 21 Year Old Committee Exclusive 2016 (70cl, 46%)

Ardbeg 21 Year Old was released in 2016 for members of the Ardbeg Committee, as a limited edition of 8268 bottles. It is an Islay single malt bottled at 46% ABV, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. It was the oldest core range Ardbeg since the Lord of the Isles releases. The whisky was distilled in the 1990s, when the distillery made very little and workers came over from Laphroaig, then a sister distillery, for a few weeks each year.
