Ardbeg Twenty Something is a 23-year-old Islay single malt, issued as the Committee Release in 2017. It is a distillery bottling, in a 70cl bottle at 46.3%. It was assembled from a small batch of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky in them was distilled in the early 1990s, before Glenmorangie took over the distillery, when Ardbeg ran for only a few weeks each year with workers from Laphroaig, a former sister distillery.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
