Ardbeg – 25 Years (70cl, 46%)

A 25 year old single malt from Ardbeg on Islay, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and presented in a box. It is limited to 6,500 bottles and is the oldest whisky the distillery has released. It was put together from Bourbon casks, selected from the rarest in the Ardbeg warehouse. The whisky was distilled at least 25 years ago, at a difficult time for the distillery. It is described as aromatic and complex, with the peat and smoke that characterise Ardbeg still present despite the age.
