Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill-filtered. It takes its name from An Oa, the southern part of Islay, where cliffs face Atlantic storms on one side and calmer water lies on the other.
It was named Best Islay Single Malt at the 2019 IWC awards.
The nose is creamy toffee with aniseed, dates and a hint of peach. The palate is soft and creamy with syrup, milk chocolate, orange and smoky tea, leading to a long, smoky finish with sweet spices.
