Ardbeg – An Oa Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.6%)

Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The palate opens with a smooth, creamy texture and a deep, syrupy sweetness. Milk chocolate, treacle toffee, aniseed and orange sit alongside smoky tea leaves, gentle nutmeg and cinnamon, and a little cigar smoke. An unusual note of grilled artichokes runs through it, and the wood is gently nutty, recalling a carpenter's workshop. The finish is long and sweet, with floral overtones, mint toffee and soft malty biscuit.
