Ardbeg An Oa is a Scotch single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46.6% ABV. It is bright gold in colour and known for its smoky character.
The whisky draws on three kinds of cask: sweet Pedro Ximénez, spicy virgin charred oak and intense ex-bourbon.
The nose is smoky, like burning apple wood, with light fruit and buttery toffee. The palate opens with strong smoke, followed by sweet milk chocolate and toffee, and the smoke lingers in a long finish.
