An Islay single malt from Ardbeg, matured in a mix of PX sherry casks, charred virgin oak and ex-bourbon American oak. It is bottled at 46.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers sweet crème brûlée and Hobnobs, balanced by wild mint and delicate aniseed, with orange peel and light lemon sweets. The palate is recognisably Ardbeg in a lighter guise: tobacco leaf and sweet hay mixed with honeyed notes and a hint of citrus. The finish is sweet, nutty and smoky.
