Ardbeg Anthology - The Beithir's Tale 15 Years Old

The Beithir's Tale is a 15 year old Ardbeg single malt from the Islay distillery's Anthology Collection, inspired by a fearsome creature said to stalk the shores around the distillery. It was matured in specially made charred bourbon casks. The barrels were air-seasoned and heavily toasted before a light charring. It has won Gold at both the International Spirits Challenge and the International Wine and Spirit Competition. The flavours are bold, with peat smoke, treacle, coffee grits, citrus and spice. The finish is long, with vanilla and smoked butter.
