The Harpy's Tale is a 13 year old Ardbeg single malt from the Anthology Collection. It is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
It is a marriage of whisky matured in sweet Sauternes wine casks and Ardbeg aged in ex-bourbon casks. The aim was a balance between sweetness and smoke.
The flavours run from smoked lemon peel and balsamic vinegar to fresh apricots and notes of tarry rope.
