Ardbeg Ardcore is a single malt from Islay, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is made with roasted black malt, taken to an extreme level of roasting, and the malt is what shapes its profile.
It has been likened to biting on a spiky ball. The nose brings charcoal and sweet smoke, followed by aniseed and dark chocolate on the palate.
