Ardbeg Auriverdes is the distillery's Ardbeg Day bottling for 2014, an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 49.9% ABV. The name nods to that year's Brazil World Cup and its green and gold theme, which also matches Ardbeg's green bottle and golden whisky.
It was matured in refill bourbon casks with specially toasted ends, which add extra vanilla and coffee notes to the classic bourbon cask character.
The style is big, sooty, smoky and tarry.
