Ardbeg BizarreBQ is a single malt and the distillery's first barbecue-inspired whisky, bottled at 50.9% and non-chill filtered. It was created by Dr Bill Lumsden together with Christian Stevenson, known as DJ BBQ.
The recipe brings together three types of cask: double charred oak, Pedro Ximénez sherry and BBQ casks, each toasted to add fire to the whisky.
It is described as sweet, tangy and smoky, with a meaty, peaty character.
