Ardbeg – Corryvreckan (57.1%)

Ardbeg Corryvreckan is a single malt from Islay, named after the famous whirlpool off the north of the island. It is bottled at 57.1% ABV and is non-chill-filtered. The character follows the name: swirling aromas and a deep, peaty, peppery taste, in a malt that is described as beautifully balanced. It was named World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards in 2010.
