Ardbeg Corryvreckan is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was first released in 2009 as the successor to Airigh Nam Beist, and it is a whisky well liked by drinkers who favour peat.
Tasting notes describe ripe green apples, red berry fruit and oak with wisps of peat smoke on the nose. The palate brings dark chocolate and coffee, with an intense, powerful, full and creamy character. The long finish keeps offering new impressions.
