Ardbeg – Corryvreckan (70cl, 57.1%)

Corryvreckan is a single malt from Ardbeg on Islay, bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is savoury and smoky, with salty smoked kippers on buttery brown toast, cracked black pepper, orange juice and ground black coffee, alongside pine and soap. On the palate a hint of sweetness balances the smoke, and the finish carries plenty of pepper spice.
